Many of us remember reading the children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are.” On Oct. 16, director Spike Jonze released his interpretation of this classic and beloved tale. Theatres across America were packed with viewers of all ages, all eager to see this childhood story brought to life.

The movie is in every aspect magical and is very rare in form. The soundtrack is clearly a work of genius and fits the movie perfectly. This film is filled with lovable characters and interesting storylines that keep you entertained from the first words to the end credits.

Despite the fact that this movie is based on a childrens’ book, it isn’t exactly appropriate for children. It is rated PG, but there are many moments that might frighten children under the age of 10.

It will bring a smile to your face, tears to your eyes, and a fire to your heart. You’ll be at the edge of your seat waiting to unleash your inner wild thing.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre is a large theatre organization in downtown Atlanta that hosts numerous performances througout the year. Just recently, the Fox hosted a group of four men who performed as a tribute band to the Beatles in the Broadway hit, “Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles.”
These four actors took the viewer throughout the lifestyle of the Beatles, showing the early years as well as the later years. The show began as the band portrayed the Beatles in their younger years with the crisp slacks, sport coats, and that classic Beatles shag. As the show progressed into the second act, the four performers transformed into the Beatles in their later years with the eccentric costumes, facial hair, and hippie style.
The show was great and sufficiently entertaining. If you are a true Beatles fan, this show will absolutely keep you smiling from opening number to finale!
